Later, the 6th Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival occupies September 1-20 and brings international artists together with local ensembles in smaller-scale settings that often serve as entry points for rising instrumentalists. The 4th Adalar’da Caz festival on the Princes’ Islands, September 18-20, adds workshops and masterclasses that allow younger jazz musicians to work directly with visiting professionals.

The 5th Serçeşme Hünkâr Hacı Bektaş Veli Festival on October 2-4 focuses on cultural heritage and social solidarity, while the 6th International Children’s Rights Festival in November incorporates programming shaped by children’s own suggestions and centres on the core principles of the 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The year closes on December 17 with events marking the 753rd anniversary of the Şeb-i Arus.
